郑旭峰，博士，教授，博士生导师。2014年在中国科学院海洋研究所获得海洋地质博士学位。2016年12月-2017年12月在国家留学基金委支助下在德国阿尔弗雷德韦格纳极地与海洋研究所开展访问研究。2018年入选中国科学院青年创新促进会，担任广州分会委员。2019年入选广州市珠江科技新星和中国科学院南海海洋研究所南海新星。2020年入选广东省科技创新青年拔尖人才。主持国家自然科学基金重大研究计划、面上、青年项目、海南省重点研发项目、广东省人才项目、中科院人才项目、广州市人才等16项，参与中国科学院战略先导科技专项、国家科技支撑（攻关）计划等项目。发表SCI 论文24篇，其中以第一作者Nature Communications, EPSL, GRL, JGR等国际顶级刊物发表文章，研究成果发表后得到较广泛关注，被Science, Nature Communications, EPSL等国际刊物广泛引用和评述，被《中国科学院》、《科学网》和《中国气象局》等报道。近年与德国阿尔弗雷德韦格纳极地与海洋研究所，德国波恩大学、美国哥伦比亚大学，英国南极调查中心，澳大利亚联邦科学院海洋与大气研究所等开展广泛的学术交流和合作。担任科技部、国家自然科学基金委、海南省重点实验室、广东省杰出青年基金和浙江省杰出青年基金评审专家、中国科学院青年创新促进会广州分会委员，第五届青年地学论坛大会学术委员会委员，广东省青年科学家协会会员；<Earth and Planetary Science Letters>、<Quaternary Science Review>以及《Nature百年科学经典系列丛书》审稿专家。2019年被邀请作为中国科学家参加了国际大洋钻探计划南极IODP382航次。2022年被海南省商务厅邀请为商务部组织“一带一路”发展中国家官员研修班讲授海洋地质观测知识。

Xufeng Zheng is a professor and doctoral supervisor with a Ph.D. in marine geology from the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. From December 2016 to December 2017, he conducted visiting research at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Germany under the support of the National Scholarship Committee. He was selected as a member of the Guangzhou Branch of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018 and as a new star of the Pearl River Science and Technology in Guangzhou and the South China Sea in the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019. In 2020, he was selected as a top young talent in science and technology innovation in Guangdong Province. He has presided over 16 national natural science foundation programs, including major research plans, general and young projects, key R&D projects of Hainan Province, Guangdong Provincial talent projects, Chinese Academy of Sciences talent projects, and Guangzhou talent programs. He has participated in strategic leading science and technology projects and national science and technology support (tackling) plans. He has published 24 SCI papers, including articles as the first author in international top journals such as Nature Communications, EPSL, GRL, and JGR. His research results have garnered widespread attention, citation, and review in international journals such as Science, Nature Communications, and EPSL, and have been reported in publications like the Chinese Academy of Sciences, ScienceNet, and China Meteorological Administration. In recent years, he has carried out extensive academic exchanges and collaborations with the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Germany, the University of Bonn in Germany, Columbia University in the United States, the British Antarctic Survey, and the CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere Research in Australia. He has served as a reviewer for Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Quaternary Science Review, and the Nature Centennial Science Classic Series. He has been invited as a Chinese scientist to participate in the international ocean drilling program Expedition 382 to the Antarctic in 2019. In 2022, he was invited by the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce to teach marine geological observation knowledge for the Ministry of Commerce's training program for officials from developing countries in the Belt and Road Initiative.

● 研究方向

   围绕气候预测和宜居地球主题，开展海洋环境变迁研究，致力于通过海洋地质、物理海洋、古气候模拟和大数据集成等多学科交叉方法，从时空尺度、多指标、多维度研究南极绕极流、北太平洋西边界流和北太平洋中深层水的演变历史，揭示:

1）地质历史时期深水底流模态与气候临界点的关系；

2）地质历史时期和工业革命以来西边界流驱动和响应机制；

3）地质历史时期大气、海洋和冰盖之间的耦合关系。

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests include unravelling the evolutionary history of the Antarctic circumpolar circulation, western boundary currents and North Pacific intermediate water by using sedimentology, modeling and dataset synthesis, and thus uncovering:

1) Circulation modes of deep-water circulation and climatic tipping points in geological timescales。

2) Interactions between atmosphere, ocean circulation and ice sheet in geological timescales。

3) The forcing and feedback mechanisms of Western boundary currents in geological and post-industrial timescales。
