MRU Launches the “Laboratory Safety Production Month” Campaign

2022年6月是第21个安全生产月，主题是“遵守安全生产法，当好第一责任人”，重点是在真正学懂弄通习近平总书记关于安全生产重要论述的基础上，宣传贯彻新安全生产法，推动“第一责任人”守法履责，严格落实安全生产十五条硬措施，持续推进安全生产专项整治三年行动。习近平总书记强调，要坚持以人民为中心的发展思想，坚持人民至上、生命至上，统筹发展和安全，始终保持如履薄冰的高度警觉，做好安全生产各项工作。为贯彻落实习近平总书记关于安全生产的重要论述，学习了解《关于进一步强化安全生产责任落实 坚决防范遏制重特大事故的若干措施》相关内容，南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室（简MRU）“实验室安全生产月”活动启动。

The 21st Safety Production Month falls on June 2022. With the theme of “Comply with the Production Safety Law and Be the First Responsible Person”, the Month, in order to strictly implement the fifteen hard measures of ensuring production safety and continue to promote the three-year action of special rectification of production safety, focuses on the promotion and implementation of the new production safety law and the promotion of “first responsible person abides by the law to fulfill their responsibilities” based on really understanding General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on production safety. General Secretary Xi Jinping stresses the need to adhere to the people-centered development concept, adhere to the principle of “putting people and their lives first”, co-ordinate development and safety, and always maintain a high degree of vigilance as if walking on thin ice so as to do a good job in all aspects of production safety. In order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on production safety and learn about the Measures to Further Strengthen the Implementation of Production Safety Responsibilities and Resolutely Prevent and Curb Serious Accidents, the State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in the South China Sea (MRU) launches the “Laboratory Safety Production Month” campaign.

MRU将开展实验室安全教育专项培训、案例分享等系列活动，进一步增强实验室的安全生产红线意识，强化安全生产责任落实，促进科研、教学领域安全生产形势持续稳定向好。全力开展实验室安全专项整治，深入推进实验安全专项治理，坚决遏制重大生产安全事故发生和事故多发频发势头，确保“安全生产月”活动取得实效，为迎接党的二十大胜利召开营造稳定的安全生产环境。

MRU will carry out a series of activities such as special training on laboratory safety education and case sharing to further enhance the awareness of the red line of laboratory safety production, strengthen the implementation of the responsibility for safety production, and promote a stable and positive production safety situation in the field of research and teaching. MRU will carry out special rectification of laboratory safety, promote special treatment of experimental safety, resolutely curb the occurrence of major production safety accidents, ensure the effectiveness of the “Safety Production Month” activities, and create a stable safety production environment for the victory of the 20th National Congress of the CPC.
