Peng Zhao is elected deputy director of the Marine Standardization Branch of Chinese Society of Oceanography

2023年4月18日，中国海洋学会海洋标准分会换届会及学术交流会于中国海洋学会2023海洋学术（国际）双年会期间在厦门举行。海南大学南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室赵鹏副研究员当选为海洋标准化分会副主任委员。

On April 18, 2023, the election & academic exchange meeting of the Marine Standardization Branch of Chinese Society of Oceanography was held in Xiamen during the International Ocean Science Conference 2020. Associate Research Professor Peng Zhao from State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in South China Sea (MRU) was elected deputy director of the Marine Standardization Branch.

中国海洋学会成立于1979年，是全国海洋科技工作者和涉海单位自愿组成的学术性、公益性法人社会团体。中国海洋学会海洋标准化分会是中国海洋学会的22个分会之一，中国海洋学会标准化分会是中国海洋学会标准日常工作承办单位，承担海洋团体标准制修订、海洋标准化科普等职责。

Founded in 1979, the Chinese Society of Oceanography is an academic and community public welfare organization voluntarily formed by marine science and technology workers and sea-related units nationwide. Being one of the 22 branches of the Chinese Society of Oceanography, the Marine Standardization Branch undertakes the responsibilities of marine group standard making and revision, marine standardization science popularization, etc.

海南大学长期致力于蓝碳领域标准化研究，相关科研人员主持起草了《海洋生态系统碳储量调查与评估技术规程 海草床》、《海洋标准体系》第19部分蓝碳标准体系，在国家温室气体清单（滨海湿地）编制方法、蓝碳交易方法学、废弃虾塘红树林造林等方面开展了标准化研究。

Hainan University has long been committed to the standardization research in the field of blue carbon, and researchers have presided over the drafting of the “Technical code of practice for investigation and assessment of carbon stock in the blue carbon ecosystems—Seagrass bed” and the Part 19 of “Marine standard system” on blue carbon, and carried out standardization research in the compilation method of national greenhouse gas inventory (coastal wetlands), blue carbon trading methodology and mangrove reforestation in abandoned shrimp ponds.
