11月18日，由自然资源部第二海洋研究所卫星海洋环境动力学国家重点实验室举办的海洋领域国家重点实验室管理工作暨青年科学家发展研讨会在杭州召开，会议旨在加强海洋领域国家重点实验室之间的交流与合作，为国家重点实验室管理工作人员提供一个开放的交流平台。大连理工大学海岸和近海工程国家重点实验室、华东师范大学河口海岸学国家重点实验室、海南大学南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室、上海交通大学海洋学院、同济大学海洋地质国家重点实验室、厦门大学近海海洋环境科学国家重点实验室、中国科学院空天信息创新研究院遥感科学国家重点实验室、中国科学院南海海洋研究所热带海洋环境国家重点实验室以及自然资源部第二海洋研究所等9家单位的50余名管理人员与青年学者参会。

On November 18, 2020, a seminar on the management of state key laboratories in the marine field and the development of young scientists was held in Hangzhou by State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED), aiming to strengthen the communication and cooperation among state key laboratories and provide an open communication platform for management staff in state key laboratories. More than 50 administrative staff and young scholars were present at the seminar, and their affiliations were State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Offshore Engineering of Dalian University of Technology, State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research of East China Normal University, State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in South China Sea of Hainan University, School of Oceanography of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, State Key Laboratory of Marine Geology of Tongji University, State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science of Xiamen University, State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science of Aerospace Information Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, South China Sea Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Second Institute of Oceanography of Ministry of Natural Resources respectively.

会上，实验室副主任沈义俊教授做了题为《青年科学家在南海深海资源开发利用环境所面临的技术挑战》的报告，与会人员围绕国家重点实验室的科技、经费、仪器共享、评估考核等具体管理工作、青年科学家职业生涯规划、发展过程中遇到的问题以及可能的解决办法开展了深入交流。

During the seminar, Professor Yijun Shen, Deputy Director of MRU, made a report entitled “Technical Challenges Faced by Young Scientists in the Deep-Sea Resources Exploitation and Utilization in the South China Sea”. The participants exchanged views on the specific management of state key laboratories in terms of science and technology, funding, instrument sharing, assessment and evaluation, career planning of young scientists, problems as well as their possible solutions.

11月19日，实验室与自然资源部第二海洋研究所海底科学重点实验室进行了深入交流，探讨多渠道多方向增进实验室间的合作交流模式，通过利用各自优势进行互补，共同为国家发展重大战略需求提供技术服务。

On November 19, MRU and SOED discussed methods of enhancing cooperation and exchange between laboratories in order to provide technical services for the major strategic needs of national development.
