The 4th General Meeting of the Marine Chemistry Branch of Chinese Society for Oceanography and Academic Symposium on the Development of Marine Chemistry
本站讯（记者 杨婕）5月19日，中国海洋学会海洋化学分会（以下简称海化分会）在海口以线上线下相结合的形式召开第四届委员换届大会暨海洋化学学科发展及学术研讨会。中国海洋学会副秘书长高建东，厦门大学戴民汉院士，南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室主任高树基教授，中国科学院海洋研究所深海研究中心孙卫东研究员，华东师范大学河口海岸学国家重点实验室吴莹研究员，中国海洋大学化学化工学院杨桂朋教授，广西大学海洋学院余克服教授，同济大学海洋与地球科学学院杨守业教授，中国科学院广州地球化学研究所韦刚建研究员、厦门大学李骁麟教授及来自海化分会的100余名专家学者以线上、线下的形式参加会议。会议开幕式由李骁麟主持。

On May 19, 2023, the marine chemistry branch of the Chinese Society for Oceanography (hereinafter referred to as MC-CSO) held the 4th general meeting and an academic symposium on the development of marine chemistry in Haikou in a combination of online and offline forms. The event was attended by Jiandong Gao, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Society for Oceanography, Academician Minhan Dai from Xiamen University, Professor Shuh-Ji Kao from the State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in the South China Sea, Research Professor Weidong Sun from the Deep Sea Research Center of Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Research Professor Ying Wu from the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research of East China Normal University, Professor Guipeng Yang from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Ocean University of China, Professor Kefu Yu from the School of Marine Sciences of Guangxi University, Professor Shouye Yang from the School of Ocean and Earth Science of Tongji University, Research Professor from Gangjian Wei from the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Xiaolin Li from Xiamen University, and more than 100 experts and scholars from MC-CSO. The opening ceremony was hosted by Xiaolin Li.
高建东代表中国海洋学会致辞。他充分肯定了海化分会第三届委员会所作工作，并在学科能力、组织科研和社会服务等方面上对海化分会提出建议和期望。他希望继续发挥海化分会的引领作用，推动海洋化学领域高质量发展。
Jiandong Gao delivered a speech on behalf of the Chinese Society for Oceanography. He fully affirmed the work done by the third committee of MC-CSO and made suggestions and expectations for it in terms of discipline capability, scientific research and social services. He hoped MC-CSO could continue to play a leading role in promoting the high-quality development of the discipline of marine chemistry.
戴民汉作学科与工作回顾与展望的汇报。他回顾了中外海洋化学学科发展史，汇报了海化分会秉承“促进学术交流，推动海洋化学学科发展”的宗旨，在主办或承办学术会议、搭建学术交流平台、开展海洋科普等方面开展的重点工作，介绍了海化分会委员换届筹备情况，分享了海洋化学的学科基本情况和发展态势。

Academician Minhan Dai reviewed the development history of marine chemistry at home and abroad, and reported the key work carried out by MC-CSO such as hosting academic conferences, building academic exchange platforms, and carrying out marine science popularization. He also introduced the preparations for the renewal of the MC-CSO membership and shared the basic situation and development status of the discipline of marine chemistry.
会议选举产生了海化分会第四届委员会成员。经表决，高树基当选为主任委员，并产生了8名副主任委员和1名秘书长。高树基在就职讲话中指出，要加强党的组织建设，有效汇聚广大科技工作者的智慧，服务于党和政府的科学决策；要强化创新意识，开拓进取，争创海化分会工作的新局面；要深化服务的意识，与科技工作者一同构建畅通稳定的双向联系渠道，完善人才的评价机制，积极为科技工作者排忧解难，创新科技成果转化的服务机制，促进产业增产增收和科技工作者成长成才。

The 4th MC-CSO committee members was elected in the meeting, and Shuh-Ji Kao was elected as the chairman. Shuh-Ji Kao pointed out in his inaugural speech that we should effectively make use of the wisdom of the science and technology workers to serve the scientific decision making of the communist party of China and the Chinese government, strengthen the sense of innovation, and raise the service awareness. Besides, we should build a smooth and stable two-way contact channels connecting MC-CSO and all the science and technology workers, improve the evaluation mechanism of talent, actively solve problems for science and technology workers, develop better mechanism for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
会议还邀请南京大学教授陈天宇、厦门大学教授王为磊、集美大学教授祁第、中国海洋大学教授包锐、华东师范大学教授赵宁、厦门大学教授曹知勉、中国科学院南海海洋研究所责任研究员修鹏、南方科技大学副教授李芯芯、自然资源部第二海洋研究所研究员李宏亮、自然资源部第三海洋研究所研究员詹力扬、海南大学研究员万逸、上海交通大学副研究员张瑞峰作学术报告。在次日举行的海洋化学学科发展及学术研讨会上，参会专家学者围绕海洋化学的范畴、海洋化学跟其他学科交叉的边界、海洋化学如何面向国家需求的发展、海化分会事务讨论与交流沟通机制四个方面进行商议。
The event also invited Professor Tianyu Chen from Nanjing University, Professor Weilei Wang from Xiamen University, Professor Di Qi from Jimei University, Professor Rui Bao from Ocean University of China, Professor Ning Zhao from East China Normal University, Professor Zhimian Cao from Xiamen University, Research Professor Peng Xiu from South China Sea Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor Xinxin Li from Southern University of Science and Technology, Research Professor Hongliang Li from the Second Institute of Oceanography of Ministry of Natural Resources, Research Professor Liyang Zhan from the Third Institute of Oceanography of Ministry of Natural Resources, Research Professor Yi Wan from Hainan University, and Associate Research Professor Ruifeng Zhang from Shanghai Jiaotong University to made academic presentations. In the symposium, experts and scholars discussed the scope of marine chemistry, the boundary between marine chemistry and other disciplines, the national need-oriented development of marine chemistry, and the MC-CSO mechanism of exchange and communication.
