State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in the South China Sea 2021 Open Project Application Notice

根据“南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室”开放课题管理规则，现将“南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室”2021年度开放课题申请指南公开发布。

According to the management rules of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in the South China Sea (MRU), the application guidelines of the MRU 2021 open project are now publicly released.

南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室于2015年6月开始筹建，2016年7月获批成立建设，是我国第一个针对南海海洋资源进行开发利用和保护研究的国家重点实验室，也是目前海南省申报的第一个省部共建国家重点实验室。实验室聚焦于南海海洋资源及其利用研究，符合国家战略布局。

MRU was established in June 2015 and approved in July 2016. It is the first state key laboratory for the development, utilization and protection of marine resources in the South China Sea in China, and the first state key laboratory jointly established by the Ministry of Hainan Province and Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. MRU focuses on the research of marine resources and their utilization in the South China Sea, which is in line with the national strategy.

为了进一步提高国家重点实验室在本领域的作用，促进科研人员之间的相互交流，培养年轻科研人才，欢迎各科研单位研究人员，特别鼓励40岁以下具有博士学位的年轻研究人员，依据“南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室”2021年开放课题指南，积极申请实验室开放课题，并请在2020年12月20日前将“南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室开放课题”申请书打印稿一式一份交送本重点实验室，电子版发送至实验室公共邮箱mru@hainanu.edu.cn。

In order to further enhance the role of MRU in its field, to promote mutual exchanges among research fellows, and to cultivate young scientific talents, we welcome research fellows from all units, especially young fellows under 40 years old with doctoral degrees, to apply for the open project. Please submit a hard copy of the application form for the “State Key Laboratory of Marine Resources Utilization in the South China Sea 2021 Open Project” to the Laboratory and send an e-mail at mru@hainanu.edu.cn before December 20, 2020.
