海南大学教授、博士生导师、副校长，曾先后任教于西南财经大学、中山大学和中国人民大学；毕业于美国威斯康星大学密尔沃基分校，获经济学博士学位；主要研究方向为产业组织理论、规制与反垄断等，以第一/通讯作者身份在《Organization Science》、《Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization》、《International Journal of Industrial Organization》、《Journal of Comparative Economics》等英文期刊及《中国社会科学》、《经济研究》等中文杂志发表学术论文；主持国家社会科学基金重大项目、国家发展改革委重大改革项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目等课题；入选国家“万人计划”哲学社会科学领军人才、长江学者（青年）、教育部新世纪优秀人才计划，获霍英东教育基金奖等；为国家发改委、商务部、国家知识产权局等项目专家顾问，多次参与我国重大反垄断案件行政执法工作，主讲国家反垄断执法机构经济分析专题授课等；兼任全国青联常委、教育界别主任委员，中国工业经济学会副会长，人大复印报刊资料《产业经济》执行编委，曾挂职新疆生产建设兵团商务局（旅游局）副局长。
